* Configurando la cuenta postgres
$ sudo bash
$ su postgres
* Crear usuarios en la base de dato
$ createuser postgres
* Crear una base de datos
$ createdb SIMA -E LATIN8
$ createlang plpgsql SIMA
* Arrancamos el postgres
$ psql SIMA
* Una vez dentro de la base de datos escribimos el siguiente comando:
SIMA=# alter user postgres with password 'postgres';
SIMA=# \q
* Configurar pg_hba.conf
$ sudo nano /etc/postgresql/8.2/main/pg_hba.conf
modificar las siguientes lineas:
# IPv4 local connections:
host all all 0.0.0.0 dejar un espacio 0.0.0.0 md5
* Reiniciamos el Postgres
$sudo /etc/init.d/postgresql-8.2 restart
* Instalar pgadmin3
$sudo aptitude install pgadmin3
